Strategaeth a Blaenoriaethau Grant GAD -£8,709.89

Mae’r ysgol yn defnyddio’r GAD i gefnogi disgyblion sy’n wynebu anfantais economaidd drwy:

  • Prosiect RADY: Codi disgwyliadau a chynnig cyfleoedd cyfartal i lwyddo.
  • Cyfleoedd allgyrsiol: Meithrin dealltwriaeth o ddiwylliant Cymreig a chryfhau ymdeimlad o berthyn.
  • Olrhain cynnydd: Asesu effaith ymyriadau ar ddatblygiad disgyblion.
  • Targedau CDY: Gwella sillafu, darllen Cymraeg a sgiliau rhif.
  • Rheoli Perfformiad Staff: Sicrhau cyfraniad gweithgar i godi safonau.

    • Datblygu hunan-gyfrifoldeb, parch a goddefgarwch.
    • Dathlu presenoldeb a hyrwyddo agwedd gadarnhaol tuag at ddysgu.
  2. Sgiliau Iaith a Rhifedd
    • Gwella sillafu a geirfa yn y ddwy iaith.
    • Codi safonau ysgrifenedig a dealltwriaeth mathemategol drwy ymyriadau wedi’u targedu.
  3. Dysgu yn yr Awyr Agored
    • Hybu hyder, cymhelliant, sgiliau cymdeithasol a chorfforol.
    • Cynyddu hunan-barch ac agwedd gadarnhaol at ddysgu.

 

PDG Grant Strategy and Priorities - £8,709.89

The school uses the PDG to support pupils facing economic disadvantage through:

  • RADY Project: Raising expectations and offering equal opportunities to succeed.
  • Extracurricular opportunities: Nurturing understanding of Welsh culture and strengthening sense of belonging.
  • Progress tracking: Assessing the impact of interventions on pupils' development.
  • SIP Targets: Improving spelling, Welsh reading and numeracy skills.
  • Staff Performance Management: Ensuring active contribution to raising standards.

 

Expected Outcomes

  1. Health and Wellbeing
    • Developing self-responsibility, respect and tolerance.
    • Celebrating attendance and promoting a positive attitude towards learning.
  2. Language and Numeracy Skills
    • Improving spelling and vocabulary in both languages.
    • Raising written standards and mathematical understanding through targeted interventions.
  3. Outdoor Learning
    • Promoting confidence, motivation, social and physical skills.
    • Increasing self-esteem and positive attitude towards learning.
